Ken joined Radio 2 in 1982 as a stand-in presenter on the Early show. Bruce also presented shows for BBC Radio Scotland
from London and became a regular presenter for Radio 2 in 1984 when he assumed hosting duties for the Saturday late night show in addition to his continuing show on BBC Radio Scotland.
PHIL SWERN
Radio Producer
Phil "The Collector" Swern is an English radio producer and music collector. He was formerly a record producer and songwriter, and has also written for television. He produced Pick of the Pops for Radio 1 in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and has produced the show for Radio 2 since 1997.

How it all started
Welcome to Popmaster - currently broadcast on BBC Radio 2. We’ve had the quiz running for a few years now (*cough*) and it’s become a huge part of the mid-morning show.
